My boyfriend and my roommate, who is 29, started dating a girl who just turned 19 in January. Definitely not an age gap I would do but they seem happy.
Wait, what? He is your boyfriend AND your roommate AND he is dating someone else?

LOL. I thought that too when I first read it. I think she means the roommate of -her boyfriend and her-.

I'm going to try and ignore the sex talk since I'm about to mention my parents and as far as I'm concerned, they've only done it three times (which is how many times Mom was pregnant..as much as it pains me I can't chalk that up to immaculate conception especially since we're Jewish). They were 22 and 33 when they got married, and it's worked out pretty well for the last 46 years, so it seems totally normal to me.

I met my H when I was 22. He was 36 at the time. I was however, a mother of a two year and supporting both my son and me. My parents were kind of weirded out at first, but it's been almost 12 years and 2 more kids later and it obviously never became much of an issue. At 34 and 48 it's almost non existent. Sometimes though, people will make bold statements to me regarding our age difference and that can make me feel sort of embarrassed and uncomfortable.
