MIL has a kiwi peeler that I have never been able to find in stores. I should probably check Amazon, but I never think about it when I'm putting in an order.
I don't have the egg circle thingie, but have thought about buying it before. I like to make breakfast sandwiches, and I think it would be great.

I have one and I love it! LOL it's so dumb but I use it all the time.
Are yours just little circles that you put in a frying pan, or is it a totally separate device? I think I want something like the former, if they exist.
I have one because I couldn't make a fried egg without it being ENORMOUS and super thin. I still don't understand how people make reasonably sized fried eggs without this device.

Oh, mine is for the microwave, I thought that's what you meant. I didn't know they made them for the frying pan, too.
What if you used a cookie cutter, would that work?

I've been considering this, but I only have plastic star-shaped cookie cutters, lol. I might buy a metal circle and try it out, but as some PPs mentioned, I wonder if they need to have a good non-stick coating to work.
The little things that make eggs perfect breakfast sandwich circles. Does anyone have them?
Any unnecessary gadgets you love?
One of these things?
or the bigger frying pan that can hold like 4 at a time?
I have the one I PIP'd. It's perfect for making one egg for a breakfast sandwich. Sometimes I make biscuits and bacon on the weekends, and if there is any leftover I can make a sandwich on Mon A.M. using the little egg pan above!
I recently got a tiny strainer/colander for fruits. I try to buy some good stuffs at Whole Paycheck for DS and I always wash off the fruit before I give it to him. One of these:
And a new set of nesting/stacking bowls. DS likes to take them out of the lower cupboard and wear them as hats. Then they fall off, land on the tile floor and break. I kept all the hard plastic ones in the lower cabinet and he's broken 2 bowls, so far. ^o)
I usually make at least 2 eggs at a time but that little pan is so freaking cute! I always have to restrain myself from buying miniature everything, including those little collanders.

Yeah, good point. Or I saw a Pinterest fail thing where the egg slipped out from the bottom and went all over the pan anyway, lol.

Fresh eggs make the difference. I sell farm-fresh eggs to restaurants, and many chefs tell me that this is one reason they buy directly from a farmer rather than Sysco. Commercially produced eggs are often a couple weeks old by the time you purchase them, and are still fine to eat, but they lose their ability to hold together in the frying pan.

I have the kind that is closed on both sides and you flip it over. I used it a ton to make egg sandwiches because it fits sandwich thins perfectly, but then kind of got off that kick. The pan works great though.
I have these stainless steel rings that are meant for actually baking English muffins. There are four in the set and they fit in a large frying pan perfectly. I coat the bottom edge and inside with butter though because they are super sticky. The trick is to put them on the frying pan to preheat before dropping in the egg.
They need to be sprayed with butter before using though.
YES! These are what I was envisioning! I don't think I've ever actually seen them but I felt like they must exist Do you happen to recall where they're from?

I have the Small Fry pan & I love it! It makes my eggs the perfect size. Has anyone tried one of those hamburger stuffer gadgets? H was asking for one over the weekend.

You can find them at Williams Sonoma and on Amazon.

I have a three piece fruit bowl, basically a bowl with cover and a mini colander like this one that fits inside. I had it for years and never used it, then one day I took it out to mix up a fruit salad. Now I do that every morning, and the kids and I can eat it all day. Love that the water drains into the bigger bowl and doesn't make the fruit mushy.
I don't have an egg maker. I cheat and use a small ramekin in the microwave. Nice perfect circle every time, just the right size for an english muffin. Too small for a tortilla, though...for those I cut it in half.
They need to be sprayed with butter before using though.

All over the place. For sure at bed bath & beyond but I've seen them in grocery stores too. My mom just gave kiddo some cow and pig shaped ones & we have some heart & others my aunt gave c. Guess I should start making eggs more.
