We were in Vegas over the weekend and checked into a different hotel for Saturday night. When I went to go to bed, I pulled back the covers and there was a napkin or paper towel and a handwritten note on the hotel's paper under the covers.
So I had to call house keeping to come change the sheets since I didn't know if they were clean or not at almost midnight.
WWYD? Raise hell and demand a full refund, or a partial refund? Already not paying resort fee and have free internet access. DH still here on a conference so all food already paid for, but we had to pay the one night ourselves. I think I'd be happy with a $50 credit.
I won't be staying there again when we go back to Vegas.
That's disgusting. Ask for a full refund. At the very least, get some kind of partial reimbursement or something they can comp you. I would not want a credit that must be redeemed at that hotel (unless at a restaurant).
I'd submit a complaint through the hotel's web site. I feel like it would have better odds of being seen by someone who could do something about it than if I just wandered up to the front desk. I'm not sure that I'd ask for anything specific and just leave it up to them.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
Maybe it fell out of the cleaning person's pocket? I don't think any refund is really necessary since it sounds like they came up and changed the sheets immediately.
