The sun is shining, it's supposed to be 48 degrees today (after -35 on Saturday!) and I'm leaving work at 4 to take the kiddo and doglet for a walk in the sunshine!
It's in the 30's today and supposed to be 50 this weekend.
DD says "jacket!" every time I open our coat closet and is obsessed with wearing her coat. She also tries to pry off her footie pjs to put shoes on because she is obsessed with shoes. Definitely my kid!
I'm hoping to get a pedi at lunch.
Mine too! But she likes to wear her shoes over her pjs...
This the third day in a row I went to the gym! It always makes me feel so much better throughout the day.
I'm meeting a friend for lunch on Friday, we have another friend coming to town so we're having people over Saturday night, and C and I are meeting yet another friend for a play date on Sunday. Yay for being social again after a sucky winter.

I'm taking the afternoon off and after DD's nap I'm going to take her to ride the train at the mall. I love the look on her face when she's so proud of riding by herself.

DD has found a good afternoon nap groove! She's been consistently going down for 2 to 2 1/2 hours every day between 1:30 and 3:30 for the past week. The rest of the day is still "unscheduled" but I'll take one consistent chunk of time I know she'll be napping for now.
DS was so awesome at the grocery store this morning. He stayed in the cart, didn't fuss or whine, and was adorable. So I got a brownie for us to share after lunch at Panera. The look on his face was PRICELESS. He was *so happy.*

Had a nice time at the park with my mom's group, and since the park we go to is completely fenced in, I can really let DS run wild. He spent about 20min poking a stick into a patch of mud. It makes me so happy to see him beginning to interact with kids his age. He has such a sweet little heart toward other kids. I hope he keeps that as he gets older.
J's BFF's wife had their second baby girl yesterday, and she is the most precious squishy newborn ever. I can't wait to get me some newborn snuggles! (though I think J's hoping it'll warm me up to the idea of having a second kid a little more...ha.)
Ds reached out for the daycare provider when I dropped him off, and he didn't cry or ask for his paci! He's also getting over his cold and amazingly has been sleeping 11.5-12 hours straight at night.
