Sorry to be a PW but I found a nice groupon for sugaring and I'm really curious about it. I can't do waxes because they're so painful and the last lady burned me and it scarred so I'm really hesitant to try it again. Has anyone tried sugaring? Does it hurt? I've read that it doesn't but you never know. The groupon's $15 for a bikini sugaring so it's a good price and I might just say what the heck
I highly recommend sugaring. My skin is too sensitive for wax and have absolutely no problem with sugaring. It does still hurt given it is still removing hair but it far less painful than waxing. With wax it sticks to your hair and skin and with sugar it only sticks to your hair so you don't have the feeling of your skin ripping off. Also with wax I would always get red bumps that lasted for sometimes up to 24 hours and with waxing I never had that reaction. I'm sad I had to quit doing it because the $40 (actually $90-100 becuase I use to sugar my legs too) month started to add up.
Take an alieve an hour before and also Sallys have some numbing cream that you can apply before and it helps take the edge off.

Geez, where were you getting waxed? You must've been getting honey wax because the hard wax that I get does not stick to your skin at all. They even use baby powder as an added layer of protection. I know nothing about sugaring, though.
