I know everyone says potassium and it may be that, but I take a magnesium supplement and when I don't take it for a few days, I get weird twitches on my face/body.
So irritating! My eyes twitched almost the entire time I was in graduate school. I was absolutely convinced that there was something very wrong with me. Nope. Just stress...LOTS of stress. It went away almost immediately after graduating.

Usually, about the time I think "holy crap, maybe I actually have to see a dr," the twitch randomly stops. Maybe try that strategy?
(I don't know what a dr would do about it but the thought starts to occur when I get a little desperate.)
The last time I hadn't taken my magnesium for a few days, I got a weird twitch in the back of my throat. It was freaking me the fuck OUT. Yeah, magnesium deficiency.
I had a stress induced eye twitch. Hydration, extra magnesium, even more sleep didn't help. Eventually it went away on it's own. After more than 6 weeks.

I had the same thing, it was totally stress-related because I tried everything. Eventually things with my job calmed down a bit and all was well again.
Have you been using any new products on your face? I had a mascara that caused my eye to twitch. Stopped using the mascara and the twitch went away in no time.
