No wait, that's just one of my cats, who has lost his damn mind.
He's running down the hall and sliding (Risky Business style) into the living room. While sliding, he jumps on the back of our couch, races around it like he's got the lead in the Indy 500, and then plops down on his side for a break.
His eyes are HUGE, I'd swear he's on something, except he doesn't have opposable thumbs and can't open any pill/liquor bottles.
He just took a flying leap off the back of the couch and stampeded down the hall again.
I guess he needed to be somewhere else 10 minutes ago.
My cats do this all the time, for no reason at all. It's fun on the hardwood floors, because they often find stopping to be more of a challenge than they anticipated.
Oh yes, he's body slammed the side of the couch more than once today. He's also bouncing off the wall at the end of the hallway because he can't stop in time.
We always say the kitty shaped horses are on the loose.
One time both cats were sprinting through our old apartment and our female cat jumped up on the small wooden ironing board we had on the table. It knocked the ironing board off the table and on to our male cat's paw. He had 2 broken toes and was in a cast for 6 weeks.
