- Why grown, seemingly functional adults don't understand how to walk on a public sidewalk. This confuses me every damn day.
- Why so many meetings have to happen in order to "touch base." I can e-mail you things, too, people. I don't need to be in the same room with you to tell you things.
- Why my body almost unilaterally rejects pants. Of any kind, any elasticity. My body hates pants.
I don't understand the love of subway tile. The only subways I have ever been in that use that actual tile smell like piss. It's an association that I just can't break in my mind.

1. Why are the interest rates on mortgages lower than for student loans? 2. Why people like the musical Phantom of the Opera or Rent? 3. Why is it so hard to stop with the two spaces after a sentence?
Why did a student who dropped my class show up to take the exam? Did he forget that he dropped? Does he just really like exams? And do I have to grade it?

Why some people can't just take "No, I don't really feel doing anything today" as an answer when they ask you to hang out. They require some sort of reason that they deem "valid" and unless you give them one, will not relent. I find myself having to lie to certain people because of this, and it is irritating.

YAAASSSSSSSS!!!!
1. The incessant "Should I buy these boots?" threads 2. How my H doesn't know what brand of nighttime diapers to buy after 3 years. 3. ML's love of "Let it Go." To that I say, let. it. GO, people!

For number 1 it's because mortgages are collateralized. If you don't pay, they have an asset they can sell to recover their loss. They can't take your educations back.

2. I LOOOOVE POTA!! So hard. I used to listen to the soundtrack over and over as a kid. 3. I will ALWAYS use 2 spaces after a sentence. I can't quit it.

I have a friend who always feels like she has to make up reasons not to go out if she doesn't feel like it. Which sucks because she has a chronic pain problem.
I tell her all the time she can just tell me no and I'd understand. I think she is actually honest with me about it most of the time, I think every once in awhile she still makes something up.
2. Why people like the musical Phantom of the Opera or Rent?
I do not understand why you do not understand why some people love Rent. (I know this could be said about most of the things listed already - including but not limited to mine below, but well. Renthead checking in!)
I do not understand the Benedict Cumberbatch attraction. Shudder.
I do not understand why Mother Nature has punished us so much this winter. Have mercy, woman! Let it be spring already!

I have a friend like this. I just let my silence do the talking.
Why people like the musical Phantom of the Opera or Rent?
Hey now! I feel you on Rent, because that ish was the worst. </3 Phantom of the Opera was so fun to see in London. The British over acting was amazing, and well worth the ticket price.
Speaking of musicals, and loosely connected to Rent, why oh why won't they bring back Elton John's Aida? I don't want some shitty high school, community college, or local theater production. I want the real deal. I don't give a flying fuck about seeing Frozen on Broadway. However, if Aida came back, I'd be on a plane instantly.
I liked Aida a lot.
Michael Crawford's voice is like nails on the chalkboard, and when I saw it (I've actually seen it twice, much to my chagrin), I was soo bored. I just wanted the chandelier to fall the entire time, LOL. But I'm fully aware that I am a musical theatre snob in the worst way.
