spunbutterfly - sorry, was out of town and am just seeing this. They actually came out really well. I boiled and baked them before freezing them. I lined them on the baking sheet to freeze, then transferred them to a tupperware once they were frozen. I just let them thaw before serving and I think they tasted pretty much the same as the fresh ones.

Nope, I just let them thaw and warm up because I was running around like a mad woman getting ready. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to just heat them up some.

I think I made 4 batches for the Super Bowl party which was more than enough for 14 adults and 15 kids (although we had a lot of other food too). But people liked them enough to take some home! I think I mentioned this in my original post but I made a different cheese sauce than the one included in that recipe. If you want the cheese sauce I made I can post it.
