I didn't even realize this was a thing until it was mentioned on a design show I was watching. We're renovating our kitchen in May, and our existing cabinets are nice, and we have nice granite counters. If you've sold (or bought) where did you do it? Craigslist? I figure it's possibly worth a shot getting a little cash for them vs nothing.
No experience selling but if that doesn't pan out, see if you have a habitat for humanity restore near you. We just donated some bathroom cabinetry and got a huge tax deduction for the donation. Not as good as cash in hand but better than nothing! Ours will pick up larger donations too so for a whole kitchen I'm sure that would count as a larger donation. Enjoy the new kitchen!!!

I gave them away. They were nice, but they were pretty custom to our kitchen. If you have a layout that is common, you might be able to get a bit of money, otherwise, you would be better to just give them to someone to put in their garage or whatever. The counters are pretty difficult to get in and out without breaking, depending on how they were installed.
You could see too, if there is a Restore or something similar that might be able to use your stuff and get a tax write-off.

I hadn't even thought of the habitat or restore option, thanks! I was thinking of possibly installing some in the basement, but the kitchen isn't a design that would be easy to just line them up on a wall.
