Totally random, I know. Mekia's post about the 7:30 wedding just reminded me that I did not sleep a wink at all. DH spent the night at his mom's place, which was near the wedding venue. I was all alone in my hotel room and I never had insomnia like that. The next morning I looked like death warmed over. Thankfully the makeup artist did a phenomenal job and nobody could tell.
I slept really well, but made it as 'normal' as possible, as in, we both stayed in the apartment that night and slept together like usual. I got up early to shower though and then my mom picked me up for the getting ready stuff.
Yup. We didn't go to bed until close to midnight, but I actually slept REALLY well and slept until about 7, I guess. My BMs all stayed at my house, and it was just a fun night and morning.

Yup, I passed out around 12 after getting home from RD and woke up at 8:30 am with my house already filled up with my mom, sis and some bridesmaids. Some of them had stayed over.
I stayed at the hotel with my sister & friend (BM). I was super relieved that the rehearsal/ dinner had gone great, had a couple drinks w/ dessert, & CRASHED probably by 11-midnight. Late wedding, but I slept fantastically!!

Yep. I stayed at a rental condo downtown (closer to ceremony venue), and since I had the bed to myself, I slept like a baby. Plus there was a balcony in the bedroom at this place, and a gentle thunderstorm that night, so I kept the balcony door open and it was like listening to one of those nature sounds CDs. It was glorious.
H, on the other hand, when out with his bandmates and some friends, and didn't get home until 3. Then he got inordinately worried about our reception playlist, and spent the next five hours making sure the levels on all the songs were just right. So he got 0.0 hours of sleep before the wedding.
No - I couldn't fall asleep because H spent the night in a hotel room with his dad (his dad made a big deal about H not seeing me before the wedding). Then, the dog peed on the floor at about 5 am, so I didn't fall back asleep either. It was rough!
Not really. I was sharing a bed with my aunt. She was going through hot flashes so she had this oscillating fan next to the bed and it kept blowing air directly in my face every few minutes.

Absolutely! My sister and I camped out in the sweet suite we had reserved for the weekend (which would also be where my husband and I spent our wedding night, lol), and gorged ourself on mini-bar cookies and candy :-)
This marriage, the night before was so nice, DH came to the hotel and we ordered room service. I had to kick him out because our friends had organized a bachelors' night back at our house and my job was to keep him with me for a little while so they could set up. He didn't want to leave but after he did I took a nice long bath and starfished the bed. I slept so well.
My first marriage I was woken up at about 2am by the sounds first of the guy in the hotel room next door beating the shit out of a woman and then him creepily crying to her about why she made him do things like that.
I was totally scared and called downstairs. Instead of sending someone up or calling the police, the front desk just called the room and I could hear the phone ringing and ringing. They then proceeded to have disgusting make up sex and I had to listen to the whole thing. I never fell back to sleep the wedding day was tough.
I was on my way to drop my BMs at their hotel. I stopped at a red light and the guy in the next lane decided to run it and side swiped me. I caught up to him, we called the police and then he ran off. This happened around 11 pm. It was 1-2 am by the time I got home and I had to get up at 7 to get dressed for my hair appt. I passed out.
DH and I lived together and both slept in our bed that night so sleeping arrangements weren't abnormal.
