After the whole fancy baby thing, I kept trying to remember to post pics and I still haven't dug out the old pics. C has preferred stemware since she was about a year old. (And learned how to cheers very early on). We have awesome old pics of her w brandy snifters.
Here are a few current ones that crack me up. White wine and red wine.
I think I've broken glasses and she hasn't. She doesn't use them every day, but we don't just save them for special occasions.
She was seriously GREAT with a brandy snifter before a regular glass. It was like it angles the liquid better. I have to find you Guys some pics of her using them when she was tiny. It was hysterical. We gave her water out of shot glasses a lot when she was a baby and the dr told us to for her constipation.
She gets a little annoyed I make her use cups w a lid a lot but she uses regular glassware too. Knock on wood, I don't think she's broken any yet.
Though we did have a lightbulb shatter the other day when she knocked over a lamp while running with a balloon (string caught the lamp).
My parents now call an early evening wine their "happy hour". Every time she comes back from staying w them for a few days, I get requests for her wine glass. Lol.
They were the ones who taught her "cheers". It's funny because my parents RARELY had anything to drink when we were growing up!

She and J should get together. J has a balloon from Valentine's Day that is basically her BFF right now. She loves to ruuun back and forth across the living room with it and is always trying to get me or H to run with her.
Haha they'd have a blast! This one is from valentine's day and she loves it.
She often tells me, "I love my booloo" (how balloon seems Be pronounced)
She is so cute! I am going to teach my daughter this. My husband has all kinds of fancy glasses that break every time we move. Do you have any plastic stemware for her?
Also, water in shot glasses? Just a few weeks ago, I made my husband pack away his "shot glass chess set" from his bachelor pad days to make room for the baby's books. If he hears that we can teach the baby to drink out of shot glasses, maybe that stupid chess set will come in handy again.
M gets so annoyed she can't have "Grown Up" ( her own term for alcohol because I'd always tell her it wasn't for little girls. It was for grown ups). I should totally get her her own wine glass.

Not quite shot glasses, but here's a pic w mini beer steins. .
Def save some out. It's fun.
She has a little plastic one in her mini kitchen but I try not to let her drink out of her toys because she likes to pour things too much.
We pretty much just gave her glass. I think I may have a heavy duty little mini cordial glass I've let her use. It's helped that she's good w glass because she drinks out of my water glasses sometimes. And she's pretty good in public with glassware.
