lol. When did it start? Some kind of hormonal changes would be my guess. YOu know how like the texture of the hair on people's heads can change after having kids.
Maybe 6ish months ago? DD will be three this month.

I haven't had kids yet, but during my separation and divorce I started getting new hair growth at the nape of my neck. And it's curly while the rest of my hair is fairly straight. It's so weird and now I have to warm up a straightening iron most days just to take straighten that new hair, otherwise I have these random curls underneath my hair.

The only hair story I can tell is that some med my mom is on is changining her snow white hair (she's 84) back to its original black. It's so weird to see all the new growth at her scalp coming in dark.
mine was always curly curly till I had kids. Since then it has grown out nearly straight. I have no idea, presumably hormones.
My hairdresser pointed out some new hair growth (ON MY HEAD). I hadn't noticed that it was new growth, but that explained why I suddenly had a frizz problem. He said that depression and/or anxiety can cause hair loss, which made sense for me, as I had been fighting my way through depression for about a year by that point.
Ok can I ask a question please? When saying "straight", you mean it still has some kink to it right, not totally stick straight? Because straighter than a tight tight curl, yes I can't surely relate. Pin straight? Not yet. And I have three kids, including a set of twins, so the hormonal thing would've happened by now, I assume. My hair did totally change color after my last pregnancy though, (head hair only so maybe that's weird).

A few of them have some kink, but for the most part they are straight.
I had very curly hair as a small child, it went straight by the time I was 6. Had a bit a wave to it. Until I had my stroke (caused by birth control pills which I then had to discontinue) 18 months ago, and it's gotten reeeally reeeeally wavy/kinky. I used to use a curling iron to just help neaten it up, now I HAVE to use the curling iron to straighten the shit out of it. It is annoying as hell and I hope it's just my hormones taking a long time to deal with the wacky levels and settling down to normal. Never been pg, btw.
