Back in the day it was watch Rescue 911, followed by COPS. Every Saturday night. The newer episodes aren't nearly as good, besides Vegas, all the Vegas ones are pretty great.

Wasn't Unsolved Mysteries on that night too? I used to love that show.
I love Cops. Brings back memories of Saturday nights as a kid. H hates it, but it's on Spike tv 24/7 so I watch it frequently.
I was super traumatized by the Rescue 911 show when the kid was running through the house with a toothbrush in his mouth and he fell and it was stuck in his throat.

Years ago, on one of my 1st trips to Vegas, we went off the strip to get a Slurpee or something from 7-Eleven. Apparently, shit started to go down because we saw police cars zoom by us. My 1st thought was,"OMG the real life version of COPS! We need to GTFO".
When we were in Vegas we told our cab driver about our shared love of Cops. He then said he would drive us by the 7-11 where all the stuff happens...maybe the same one...lol.
I think our love of Cops is what kept my H and I talking the night we met. Maybe I owe Cops for my life as I know it. Oh, and My H worked on Blind Date in college and has a Joey Greco bobble head (no knife). Wht does this say about us?

Rescue 911 made me fear basically everything. I remember one about a girl getting her hair stuck to the bottom of a hot tub in a jet or something. I was so scared of pools after that.

There was one where a toddler fell head first into a bucket of water and couldn't get out. I remember being so paranoid that would happen to my little sister...despite the complete and total lack of buckets of water in our house lol

I remember one where a kid was brushing his teeth and tripped or something and it stabbed into the back of his throat. Pretty sure I was scared of brushing my teeth for a while.

I've never seen an episode, but my mom had strict TV rules (we weren't allowed to watch You Can't Do That On Television, either). When I was older I never had the desire.
