Have you tried see kai run or stride right? DDs feet are not even that chubby and I bought her some cheaper shoes at target and babies r us, I couldn't get any of them on her feet. The only shoes that always got her are SKR. They may be pricier but they have sales all the time. I know I hate wearing uncomfortable shoes so I want DDs to be comfy too
I had thi problem with A. I used robees in a size up, for a while. Then some wide stride rites worked for her, but the Mary Jane ones were always too low to get her foot in. Anything with canvas or soft leather worked best.

I think that's normal. The sales person at nordstrom commented that most babies' feet puff out of the top of shoes because they are so chubby - she was surprised that DD's didn't (she has H's skinny skinny feet).
DD's feet are "meaty" too, per the associate at Stride Rite that measured her this week. She said if we were going with Mary-Jane type shoes it might be a problem due to her chub.

Are you using Mary Janes?
Yes. The non Mary Jane ones are the next size up and too big.
DD doesn't have chubby feet, but she has a pair of SKRs that would absolutely work for chubby feet because the tongue of the shoe flaps all the way down to the toe. They're the shoes I'm teaching her to put her own shoes on with and she gets compliments on them all the time. These: www.seekairun.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=JOVYF13GRAY
Stride rite extra wides and size up. We also had more luck with shoes with two Velcro strips vs one so if one barely fit, the other would hold them on.

You're probably going to need wide or XW shoes to accommodate the chub. My DS has a fair amount of foot chub and we had to get him Stride Rite wide shoes.
Dd and DS have super fat feet. We had her measured and they said to get wides to accommodate the chub. I also use the next size up Robeez and avoid Mary Janes.

Yeah we seem to have the same issue none of the ones at bru or target fit this weekend. Her keens fit but are a little big still. I think you have the same ones. I want a cuter sandal though too. Will try these recs.

I loved summer and shoes that had velcro on the ankle and over the toes. For the other seasons we did extra wide and had to try on everything to find something to work.
We were able to find 2 pair of Stride Rites that fit him. The salesperson was able to point us in the direction of the styles to try. She said it was pretty normal for the feet to be like that at his age. Makes me wonder why they don't makes more shoes that would fit.
