help dress me. Diamonds and denim

I posted asking for help a while back when we found out what the theme was for our large school fundraiser, now it's a month out and I still need help

Excuse my screen shot pictures- I bought both of these so far. I can use or not (and I am actually not sure 100% if the boots will fit, I just ordered last night). It's in an old, revamped barn (turf floor, not dirt

Looks like, from the planning meetings, most people will be in jeans.  I have narrowed it down to jeans and a top, or a chambray top and a skirt of some sort. and that's as far as I have gotten.

wwyw? if I do jeans- what top? or if I do a chambray top, what skirt? help me please!

Hmm I may have to order a see how they look- I have a hard time with dresses- I'm pear shaped with a long torso and not many look great on me, but I'll try and see. Thanks

I had come across this and saved it and I really like the look of it but what shoes then? I don't feel like the boots would look right- so wwyd for shoes? This also assumes I can find a black sequin skirt as I have been looking and not able to yet in my size (10/12, L)

booties or even flat sandals could be cute if you didn't want to do pumps.
