For the most part, it sounds typical 4 year old. The other morning, I made the mistake of having the tv on while I was having my 4 year old eat his cereal and get dressed. I went to finish getting ready and it took a complete hour for him to eat and dress cause he was distracted by the tv.
Normal 4 year old. I suggest getting his attention before making a request. I might say their name and wait until they make eye contact. If that didn't work I'd close or take away the toy that is distracting them.
totally normal, getting socks is not a fun task. if you told him to get you a cookie and you would share it, you probably wouldn't even have to finish your sentence.
Sounds normal to me too. Usually I say their name and wait for them to look at me before I ask something. If it's something routine about leaving (coats, shoes, hat, etc) I'll say it once and if that doesn't happen they don't get to pick the song on the radio. That little thing has made getting out the door so much better.
