So I mentioned I've been having 'tightness' on and off the last week or two, and I mentioned it at my last OB check. The ARNP was saying that since it's my second pregnancy, my uterus isn't as toned and is more prone to little things irritating it and causing it to tighten up. She didn't seem too concerned, but I'm definitely bringing it up again with my regular OB to see what she says. I have a feeling it's because I'm stressed or dehydrated (or both).
They feel like my BH did with DD, and I'm concerned that it's happening so early this time.
I probably started feeling them around 33ish weeks, though I'm not sure that I knew what they were at that point. By 35 weeks is was obvious, and now it seems like I have them all the time (especially at night). I know some second and third time moms who said they started feeling BH as early as 16ish weeks…I think partly because of what you said about their uterus being more irritable, and partly because they knew what it felt like and could identify it that early.

Mine started around 15 weeks with my first. Never painful, but I could definitely feel my uterus tighten up. They happened consistently throughout my entire pregnancy.
I think I may have already felt them a couple of times this round, which is really early, but I don't think it's out of the question. I'm not too worried. Seems to just be the way my body handles pregnancy.

I have heard you often feel them sooner with additional pregnancies.
I honestly do not remember when I started feeling them. Pretty sure it was before my a/s which was 19w6d. If not that early, then it was definitely between my a/s and 24 week appt. No one seemed concerned that I was feeling them that early.
I've been feeling them the last few weeks. I'm guessing I just recognize the sensation better since it's not my first pregnancy and was probably getting them earlier than I thought last time.

I can't say for certain if I've had a BH, but I certainly feel my uterus here and there. If I'm on my feet too much it will ache, etc. But no real tightness. I'm 21 weeks.
