Menswear for women has been everywhere forever. Its my most annoying "trend" thing, because I always see stuff like "New for fall MENSWEAR FOR WOMEN!"...its done like...ALL THE TIME.
I literally yell at my screen/catalog/magazine/ad whenever I see them try to spin menswear as new. Its one of my top fashion pet peeves, lol.
Amydrinkie--I think I may be buying that Chloe bag tomorrow during the presale at Nordstrom. I need to check it out first in person.
NICE. I've had my eye on a red one for several months but it hasn't gone on sale...I don't know if it will. I guess if it doesn't, it's not meant to be. :-(
My appt to shop the presale is Sunday. I'm getting kind of nervous, though...the Customer Relationship Manager said the stylist would contact me prior to the appt to collect size info and preferences, and I told her there were some specific things I was looking for, and I haven't heard from the stylist yet. If I don't hear from them by Thursday midday I'm calling them to find out what's up.
Amydrinkie--Don't forget to get your $50 credit towards your purchase via that Customer Relationship Manager when you go for your appointment. I would call him or her and tell her that the stylist did not contact you yet and you want to have things pulled now so you'll have them at your appointment. If this year's presale is like last year's presale, all the good stuff like a hot boot (remember that "fairy tale" Tory Burch riding boot last year that no one got their hands on?) will be long gone, even during the presale.
Good luck, I hope they have everything you want!
Smart thinkin'. I just left her a VM. Fingers crossed!
Be sure to let us all know how buttery and soft and wonderful that Chloe bag is when you get it.
I agree, nothing new. I will be focusing on comfy-but-cute sweaters, a new pair of jeans, and probably splurge on some nice new boots. Even my cobbler agrees that my current boots are on their last season, though he fixed them up for me anyway.
