I had D's party on the 9th, we did a construction theme but there were only 6 kids including Daniel so I went pretty big with the favours. When the kids got here I had each of them a canvas tool belt, some cheap plastic tools and a "hard" hat to wear, they took these home but in addition I had goodie bags with some fruit snacks, a bear paw, mini chocolate bars, juice box, bubble wand, sidewalk chalk, a sand scoop that looked like the scoop from a digger and a small CAT tractor for the boys and nail polish for the girls.

We are. The party is a joint party for E and his BFF, so we have a double theme: construction and Mickey Mouse, lol (the cake will have Mickey driving a dump truck!). I'm using clear cellophane bags and inside them we have a Mickey Mouse cup filled with a few small construction vehicles and small bags of fruit snacks and goldfish (for the 2 year olds) and candy (for the older kids),
For Henry's 2nd birthday he had a train them and the bags had a train whistle, train stickers, a few small trains, and lollipops.

J is obsessed with trains, so I was thinking of a train whistle too, I was afraid that would annoy parents though and/or the kids wouldn't really be able to understand how to use them. We are not having a party, but I was thinking of sending the little party bags into his class at daycare since they will be making him a cake that day.

Wow!! That is awesome!
I doubt it will be quite so big in future years as his parties will likely have more kids but I had a lot of fun planning it this year!

Cute tool belt idea!
They all looked so cute, sadly there was never an opportunity to get a picture of them wearing them as it seemed like they took turns. Not once did they all have them on at the same time, lol. That was totally expected though!

Ours is just a teeny family party, but I'm a sucker and want Linus and their cousin to have a gift too so am doing favor bags. She's having a minnie party and I'm doing crayons, coloring book, mickey/minnie straw cup, mickey ears, and stickers.

We've done different things over the years but my favorite favors were the simple ones I made for DD#1's first birthday. I made a bunch of photocopies of pages from a vintage Boston Terrier coloring book and rolled them like a scroll with a piece of colored construction paper as the outside edge/cover page. I tied them with ribbon and tied two crayons to the ribbon.
Not. A lot of kids either. Baseball themed. Peanuts, cracker jacks, cotton candy, big league chew, sunflower seeds whiffle ball and bat. Can share with parents.
Last year we had kids of all ages and I tailored the bags: medium sized ball, glow stick necklace/bracelet, small toy, snack/candy, stickers. I know I'm forgetting stuff.
This year: mini playdoh, stickers, bubbles, coloring book/crayons, beach ball. - Mostly Mickey themed items.
