Thinking of you, centralsquare! As much as I hate the extra stress for you, I am glad that you won't have to wait too long for answers. I hope you get good news!

Hi ladies, thank you for your amazing support. It's so helpful.
Had the cvs this morning. All went well with the procedure. Heartbeat was strong, everything looked good aside from the nuchal measurement (same as yesterday.) I wish there were some way to look at signs and read tea leaves, but I know I just need to be patient and get the results.

centralsquare HUUUUUUGE hugs waiting really is the hardest part. Try to distract yourself with some funny movies/shows tonight to help time pass as quickly as possible.

(((hugs))) I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I'm glad the CVS went well today.
I had a slightly elevated NT measurement (2.9) and was told the baby could have some heart abnormalities. We didn't do further genetic testing because our odds for chromosomal abnormalities was really low. However, in your situation I would have done the same thing you did.
They let us know the only way to know for certain was to do an echocardigram around 22 weeks. We have a heart scan next week. So I don't have a complete resolution yet. But at the anatomy scan the dr. didn't see anything concerning. So I'm trying to focus on that for the time being.
I know it's so scary to hear that something could be wrong. ((hugs)) From what I've read online, there are a lot of people that have high NT measurements and everything turns out just fine. But I know it's still so worrisome. I wish I had some magical advice.

Now we wait.
I'm glad the procedure itself went well. When will you have results?
