Sweets, I am IN! Sounds like fun, LHC. We were going to go to the Dixie Stampede when we stayed in Pigeon Forge, TN last week, but as MIL said, "It's too damn expensive to smell horse shit while I eat"
We used to go all the time because H's college roommate was the king. It was awesome. We took my 8 year old (at the time) niece and she got the whole shebang (we sat in the winning knight's section and she got to be the Queen of Love and Beauty) and she still talks about how awesome it was. I can't wait to take Edith.

I've been to this one and loved it! I thought it was funny that, since they split the audience into North/South, each side gets different food. I was sitting with the South, so our food was WAY better! LOL
We went to one in college. It was cheesy fun, but I won't ever go again. I lost my voice and was wheezing by the end of the show. I am THAT allergic to horses.

When I was riding I used to train with the horse trainer there and we saw a lot of free shows. He's not there anymore because he got super busy, and his nephew took over for awhile. The nephew got transferred to the Texas castle, and I'm not sure who runs it now. How long ago was your H's friend the king? I wonder if they were there at the same time.
