I was going to say the same thing. Don't get the eBay one. It's not the same.
The Disney dresses really are very high quality (we have a tinkerbell one) but my kid trashes her costumes. I'm not sure I'd pay the $50 for a Disney dress at this point even if they had it in stock LOL.
I made an exception for the Elsa dress. Normally I would never pay full price for a Disney dress. But it was black Friday/cyber monday and it was her only big gift from Santa and so far she has taken very good care of it. However, it is a freaking glitter nightmare.
The ride is Norway at Wpcot is being redesigned into a Frozen ride.

I think this is still rumor and speculation, right? They just had their shareholders meeting yesterday and I half followed along on twitter and I don't remember them saying this.
My third cousin works in Epcot. He said it's being revamped into a Frozen theme. It will be a while yet but they have been doing measurements on the ride for a few months.
I remember all the Frozen stuff on sale months before the movie came out at the outlet store. I was confused on why it was already on sale but the movie wasn't out. I had gotten DD the Elsa doll that day. Glad I did.

Oh, trust me, this is specific to my kid! LOL. You should see the state of her Ariel dress she got a WEEK ago. Omg.
My mom bought her the tinkerbell dress and I watch her like a hawk when she's got it on lol.
Lu sounds like Abbey. We bought her the cheapie Target Elsa dress before Christmas because, holy crap, she destroys her dress up clothes!
I'm so glad we bought a ton of Frozen toys/clothes before the holidays. We didn't have any trouble finding them and have been able to avoid the huge markup.
On a related note, I think we've watched the DVD at least 3x in a row today. MOTY right here.
I wish Natalie liked any of the other princesses. I mean, she LIKES them all, but not like she LOVES Elsa. Her main love before Elsa was Minnie Mouse, and she has the Minnie dress and half of her wardrobe is Minnie Mouse.
Elsa is like little girl crack, I swear.
DH thinks that they got the merchandising wrong because originally they planned on Elsa being a "bad" character. So, they didn't really anticipate she'd be the one girls would flip out over.
I agree, but the movie has been a huge hit for like 4 months, get on it Disney!

I'm not surprised, because frozen is a huge it. But I love maelstrom and love that it has something to do with Norway. I don't really want them to change that. And it's not like maelstrom is a struggling ride. It's always fairly busy.
Personally, I would rather see it go to DHS. That park needs more rides, especially kid friendly rides!
I agree with you. I like Maelstrom.
Hollywood studios with small kids is basically Toy Story Mania and some shows. Even as an adult with more ride options I get bored there.

I really hope this rumor is false - but it is just a rumor despite what takeonyou's cousin says. Usually new rides are announced pretty far in advance to build excitement, plus it is only a couple months after the movie release and people are just excited (also, I know a bunch of Norwegian businesses put money into the Norway pavillion, I wonder if they have a contract where they have to approve changes). It's really nice that none of the world showcase is really "Disney" (the Mexico ride was much better before they added the Three Caballeros). Maelstrom is my favorite ride there, I love the trolls and everything about it
I wish we had bought a bunch of the Frozen merch they had last fall and visited the princesses with next to no wait. I'm sure I won't be wanting to stand in their line for years

But they have the Toy Story midway mania and Star Tours, and those are pretty big draws for the kids. But yeah, I definitely see your point. The roller coaster and tower of terror are mostly for bigger kiddos. I love Epcot, but a lot of people don't realize how much cool stuff is there and assume it is all boring for the kids because of the country showcase, so I think putting Frozen there is definitely a great idea.
Why is this movie so much bigger than the ones over the last few years? And I'm not talking about the adults love of it, but the kids. It seems bigger than Brave and Tangled combined.
Thankfully DD (3.5) has only seen it once and while she somehow sings the song all time (guessing other girls at daycare sing it?) hasn't asked for anything from it. She is getting the DVD for Easter though.

I think part of it is that there are two princesses, so twice the opportunity to relate to a charachter. Second, personally, I love that it is a love story of sisters, not prince/princess. Third, Olaf is the best supporting charchter since Sebastian in LM. And the music rocks. Oh, and so does the phrase, "I love warm hugs!"

Awesome!
I have to add, DD2 (whose name is Elsa -- and trust me, she is thrilled to share a name with a cool princess) insists on wearing a French braid in her hair every day now. It's the closest I can get to an Elsa-braid.

Thanks, Frozen.
My DD has really thin brown hair, and she also insists on wearing an Elsa braid. And then proceeds to admire it in the mirror even though it only comes to like her collar bone
Just thought I would update that I saw on the disboards that a couple of people have said according to Disney the online Disney store likely won't have stock of the Elsa dress again till AUGUST... just in time for the Halloween season! That is crazy. I did break down and ordered one of Ebay. It is actually the JC Penny dress but it is close enough to the real thing that my DD won't care. Now I just got to make sure I am up at midnight tonight to make my Fast Pass+ reservations to meet Anna and Elsa at WDW. Tonight our window opens for our June trip and that is the only Fast Pass that I really care about. This Disney stuff is turning me into a crazy obsessive person!!
