Someone linked a website that did the exact same chairs for like $50 less. Anyone know what that is?
DS has a "real" PBK anywhere chair and DD loves it so I want to get her one too. But I DO NOT want to spend $150 on it after shipping and monogramming.
It's uglysofa.com. But buyer beware, they are pretty crappy on the service front. I and several others on the MMM board had to threaten them with negative reviews to get our money back after they charged us and never shipped anything more than a month later.
I think it was like ugly sofa.com or something? But I don't think they're a good company. When I checked them out, they had tons of complaints and a bad rating with the BBB.
What about craigslist for the chair and then order a separate cover?
I got Joanna a little upholstered rocking chair at HomeGoods. They always have something like that there. It doesn't look like the anywhere chair, though, and it doesn't have a removable cover.

I was at Home Goods yesterday, and their little chairs are super adorable! Way cuter than the anywhere chairs. I wish my kiddos were smaller so I could get them one, and have them fit in it for longer than 6 months.
I got DSs on eBay. Just search for pottery barn anywhere chair. They sell the inside foam pieces and then I ordered the cover from PB. Saved like $40-$50 doing that. m.ebay.com/itm/371009743909?nav=SEARCH
Can't help, we just got DS an anywhere chair for his birthday to go with DD's (his only present, because yeah, second kid, we have all the toys ever made). I have to say, they are ADORABLE sitting side-by-side in their coordinating chairs.

I got Leo an ADORABLE little gingham green chair but no removable cover.

I bought DD the Land of Nod chair. It was around $80 and that included the embroidered cover. I then bought DS the PB Anywhere chair that UGLYSOFA(dot)com was selling. Great deal ($70 with embroidered cover) but holy shit. Their service was ridic. I bought the chair in October, and I barely got it in time for Christmas. They lied repeatedly about when it shipped. Buyer beware.
I think I might order it but I am afraid of customer service....
All the RL complaints I've heard have been their monogramming.
I wouldn't get that there.
Another option which is more than uglysofa less than PBK full is to split it. Get the insert from uglysofa and a monogrammed cover from PBK.
Ours are from uglysofa and I have NO complaints. ETA the covers actually have PBK tags on them too.
What if it is already monogrammed? I searched a pre/monogrammed one and it has the colors and correct spelling of Charlottes name. Do you think I would have an issue with that?

I just went to look closer at ours to tee if the tags were PBK and now I have to take off the covers and wash them because I hadn't noticed how grimy they were. Thanks for the chore ML!!
Target has some now that are more bean bag-ish, but still have the shape with the arm rests. They're like $30.
This was us, too.
We had an ugly pink Dora chair for DD and an ugly blue Brobee chair for DS. I think they were $20 each and I couldn't care less if they get spilled, puked, peed, etc on.
