Yes I cut them! My h gave her a whole grape the other day and said she is fine with them now, look she chews it. Nooooo it only takes one Unchewed grape!
Depends if I know he will sit down and not get up then whole but if we're out and about like at the park then I try to cut them. He actually reminds me to cut them

I still cut them.
Violet legitimately choked last week on a piece of pizza, which isn't even a "scary" food. It was so awful and terrifying and she was so, so scared and upset by it. I have now taken 1 million steps backwards when it comes to trusting food.

I choked on a grape when I was a toddler, so I am especially paranoid about them. Although as I'm sure everyone knows by now, I'm pretty worried about choking in general. It's a real phobia!
oof i didn't know you did! that is scary. how old were you? ok now i am fucking cutting.

I guess 2 or 3. I kind of remember it, but not really the choking part, just where I was at the time and my eyes getting watery so the room was blurry. You know how really early memories are just flashes of things. I always wonder if that's where my fear of choking (which didn't really manifest itself until I was about 10) came from.
I rarely cut the grapes. I eat them with her and bite half for myself like a mother bird.
Haha I do too!
For lunch I usually cut still just because I'm cutting everything else but if she wants a quick snack I give her some whole but make sure to keep an eye on her
We have been giving whole grapes for a while, but I have always been more lax with that. I cut grapes until 2 with Henry and at his 2 year appointment my pedi told me I could stop if I wanted (I asked). She is pretty lax, too, I suppose.
