I felt like a human garbage disposal in first tri cause I was always eating, and then it backed off during second tri, but here I am one week into third tri and I'm starting to get the hunger feelings again similar to first tri. I can assume this is possible because baby grows a lot in third tri - has anyone else experienced this?
You read my mind! I was just thinking that I have been starving all of the time lately. I barely ate at all the first tri and got a bit of my appetite back during the second, but in the past 2 weeks, I am hungry all of the time! Even right after eating, I feel like I could eat again! I wake up hungry at 4am as well. *sigh*
I am a *little* more hungry at this point in my pregnancy, than I was earlier. But non-pregnant, I am hypoglycemic and eat like a lumberjack all day long. So, I've been surprised to not be terribly hungry (or to be able to fit much food) during my pregnancy.

Yes. The worst was around 35 weeks or so before DD dropped. I was hungry all of the time, but everything was so squished in there that I couldn't eat much at one time. I would have to graze all day long and leave a snack on my nightstand.

I've been feeling like this the past month or so - I could eat so much at a time in first tri, and then all of sudden I was barely able to finish half a meal. I guess I'll be grazing more from now on since I can't stand to eat much all at once but I still feel hungry after having a small snack these days.
At first I couldn't eat much because the baby was all up against my diaphragm, and I couldn't fit very much in my stomach! Then he dropped about a month ago, and I've been eating everything in sight. It's not pretty :-(

I couldn't eat very much before either because I felt like I was suffocating from the pressure pushing up from my belly. I really don't feel like baby is lower down but I have absolutely no problem eating really large amounts all at once now...think that means baby dropped without me knowing it?
