Was looking over on MMM and saw that the chicco keyfit would only be $130 at target right now, seems like a much better deal than the usual $190. I think thats what we plan on getting. Would it be crazy to just go buy it? I'm 18.5 weeks right now and we literaly haven't purchased a single item yet. I'm so nervous to make the first purchase.
Is this the stroller you wanted anyways? Have you tested it and compared it to other brands? The reason I ask is I would have never known which stroller would be right for me just by reading reviews. I went to BRU and played around with several. This helped me decide on the Britax travel system. It was easy to carry and put back together one handed.

We aren't planning on a chicco stroller, probably going with the city mini or versa. We need to go test them out. We'll probably just just a strap n go type thing in the beginning then move to the stroller. So just the car seat for now.
Hmm, I'd be tempted as well, and I'm just 17 weeks. We tried this kind out when my sister was visiting with her baby and really liked it. The only thing she didn't love was that the sunshade was smaller than the one on her Graco, but the people we borrowed it from said they typically just draped a light blanket over the top if they needed to. My biggest hesitation would be if you thought someone would want to buy you the carseat, but I'm sure there will be plenty of other gear to get!
We bought ours at about the same point (also a Chicco Keyfit) because we found one that was 50% off. So I say go for it!
Thats a great deal! Now I'm second guessing my 30% savings.
Yeah, we were kind of shocked when we found it :-) While it's a current style/color, it was manufactured in Dec of 2012, so it will expire sooner, but I don't think that will be an issue with us.
Definitely look at your options for strollers. We went with the Chicco Keyfit Caddy as a frame stroller, and also got a BOB Revolution SE with the chicco infant seat adapter (won't be jogging with it with the infant seat, but it will give us more "off road" capability if we need it). The Chicco Liteway (umbrella stroller) is also a good choice.
We figured we would buy the carseat while it was on sale (it was kind of an impulse buy), and if we ended up changing our minds because of stroller options, we could always return it (definitely check the return policy though). Most places will take a carseat back if it won't fit in your car, too. I will admit that we were kind of surprised by how much space the Keyfit took up in our cars....it fits, but with my H being tall we had limited options of where we could put it.
I picked my chicco up when I was only about 22 weeks because I was able to get it on sale for around $120. I just hung on to the receipt figuring that if I changed my mind, I would have 90 days to return.
I bought the keyfit during the diapers.com sale a few weeks ago, I think I was probably around 15 or 16 weeks. A good deal is a good deal! You can always return it if you change your mind. That's a really good deal.

I found a chicco keyfit that was an online return being clearanced out a few months before I even got my iud out. It was the one I knew we wanted, so I bought it. I figured if it didn't work out, I would have sold it.
I bought a Bob travel system around 10 weeks because they had an amazing price on Amazon (almost 50% off, which I think was an accident). I could easily sell it and make money, if I change my mind.

So I say, if it's a really good deal, buy it!
I also bought this... at like 4 weeks :/
I figured we would definitely use it someday. Haven't bought a thing since, lol. Almost 25 weeks here.
