I may have to delay the move a week...just so I can make sure I can afford everything I will need. Will know more after I talk to my folks this weekend.
First rent check goes out tomorrow and I am calling about starting service for my utilities today.
I know. DD is getting better about the move, she's stopped saying "I'm scared about the move" and shifted to "The move will be scary, but it'll be okay.". I think we'll have some rough days after the move, but we're making progress
I'm hoping my family can help me out with the furniture because it'll ease things for me at first. I can swing a new bed for DS and a new mattress for DD but I may be on an air mattress for a bit.
I will get OT for working tomorrow, so that will help things too.
If we can get the couch out of the front door, I'll have that and it's a good sleeping couch stbx is all "tell me what you're taking so I can make a plan to replace it" uh wut? I already told you.
I actually feel pretty great today from all the rest I got yesterday. I am going to drag the pups out for a lunch time run/walk so we can get our exercise done (hopefully) before the rain.
I woke up to kitteh snuggles so all is right in my world right now. Also, stbx is coming to get the rest of his stuff tomorrow, including the bed. My place will be so empty! I won't be able to buy a new bed until next week, though, so I may end up sleeping on the couch a couple of nights in addition to sleeping at M's this weekend. I am sofa king excited!
I am having a whiny day. I got up at 6am to be at the dentist by 7 to have two crown put on. The woman who put my temporaries in did a number on me and left a piece of cement under my gums. I had never had her before. Usually everyone at the office is awesome. So 2 weeks later my gums are sore and swollen and putting the new pieces in hurt so bad. Now I am at work with sore gums and orajel to help numb the pain.
In positive news. I am making a tropical carrot cake for a friends birthday. I had enough time before work to peel carrots, dice/crush fresh pineapple, and sort out all the dry ingredients. Yippee for not spending my entire Friday night baking.
It looks like I will need to buy pots & pans, but my other kitchen stuff is covered and I may only have to buy new mattresses for me and the kids (my aunt is getting rid of a single bed and my other aunt is getting rid of her Mom's bed room set). My Mom said my Dad is looking to rent a panel truck to bring everything down to me. Holy shit I have the best family ever.

AHHHHH I am SO happy this is turning out for you! It must be a big load off of your shoulders, and it's great that people are coming up to bat for you.
I feel a million times better than yesterday today! My voice is finally back to normal too! Yay!!
I got roped into going to a bachelorette party for a girl that I'm not particularly fond of this weekend. I feel obligated to go because they rescheduled it specifically for a weekend when DS would be with his dad so I could go. I'm hoping I can get out of there early, but dinner and a few drinks with the girls could be fun...

I have another whine. I'm taking the s2000 to a serious racing shop for an evaluation on Sunday and in an effort to have them take me seriously and not think I'm a weird girl who doesn't know anything I am trying to plan an outfit accordingly. Boyfriend is trying to help and here is his list of things I shouldn't wear. Dresses/skirts Pink Polka dots Ruffles Glitter Bows Leopard Shoes that have any heel at all Lace Sequins
There is probably more that I've forgotten but at this point I'll probably just have to go naked.

He just said I should wear something simple and structured. I might try to stick with his suggestions but I might just wear something extra pink and sparkling.

GO! Or as A says, "gyo gyo gyoooo!" It could be fun, so not only go, but go into it with a good attitude.

Whenever I go to the shop... I never have luck with them taking me seriously until I open my mouth. Then once they hear I know what I want and what I am talking about they STFU. Good luck!
I do agree on probably not wearing glitter or sequins. Everything else is fair game. I'm usually in chucks, jeans and a cute top on the weekend.

I will. It will do me some good to get out with the girls anyway, regardless of the reason for the party.
