I am so upset, I had a drink made at Starbucks and when they made it they showed it to me and from what I could see it looked good but I waited a bit and when the whip melted the drink was like an inch down from the rim! So they had filled it up with an inch of just whip cream and when I showed them this and explained it and asked for more milk they refused to do it and refused to remake it saying well I showed it to you before and its just fine, well I couldn't tell before that they used so much whip cream. And they refused to remake it and told me to stop talking.

Talk to a manager!! You will get it remade and a free drink coupon. They HAVE to remake it, even if it's perfect, even if you've already had a lot of it.
So you ordered a drink, had them show it to you, sat there and waited for all the whipped cream to melt, took it back, complained, and they told you to stop talking?
My guess is that this isn't the first time you were obnoxious. It takes a great deal to annoy a Starbucks barista, they are always super friendly and helpful.

When they showed it to me it looked fine because from what I could see from the top it looked full, but I couldnt tell how much whip cream was in there until it was melted. And I waited because I had to call the starbucks customer service about an error with the stars on my account.

So if you wanted whipped cream, where should they have put it if you had a full cup? I mean, would you have liked it falling over the sides onto your hand?

In a separate little teeny cup. Like a sidecar on a motorcycle. Duh.
Leaving space for the whip is actually pretty common. Maybe not a full inch (if it really was that much), but some space is necessary to get a good base for the whip to stick to.
