I don't know. It's a bit casual for my taste, but you look great in it. I agree with the other poster that it looks a bit, beachy. But it's my understanding that you live by the beach, correct?
Love the second dress, but the multi-stone necklace is too short. It'll keep falling into your dress instead of staying on the outside. That would drive me nuts and I don't like to be distracted on a first date.

I think you look cute in the first one. I have like five dresses like it, and I'm going to keep wearing them! Lol But I only wear them to the beach, so I would say nay for this date.

It hasn't been that long since I've been on a date, and I totally expect his attention to be drawn to her decolletage, but if it was me, I'd be fussing with the necklace the entire time. lol
ETA: I think the blue-ish necklace is the correct length.
