OK, so I have craved things before, like cigarettes - because I was addicted many years ago (quit for 5 years!! whoo!)
And there are times where I could "really go for" some kind of food or drink, like I can taste it. But nothing too noticeably different from pre-pregnancy "cravings".
But I've never had a food craving that was like a cigarette craving - as in I WANT IT NOW OR EVERYONE WILL DIE.
So tell me, is the craving for things like ketchup really strong?
But I could totally go for a hotdog and ketchup right now, lol. Thanks for putting it in my mind.
For me, water can induce heartburn. I am on Zantac 75 but it doesn't always eliminate the heartburn.
How many weeks are you along magdala? Which trimester did your heartburn start?
EDD is July 9 so 25-26 weeks. My heart burn started in the first trimester and got progressively worse. I was popping Tums like candy until the doctor confirms that Zantac 75 is okay.

I keep thinking I'm going to have some weird/strong craving. But so far nothing really. If anything, I'm more surprised by the foods that sound gross to me (pasta, most things tomato based etc...)

I didn't have any cravings until at least the halfway point (when I became obsessed with spinach salads, what a weird craving!). And I had a TON of aversions, including pasta and tomatoes! Hormones are weird.

I'm 23w1d today, so I'm wondering if the cravings thing will ever hit me? And yeah...spinach salads are a weird craving. Healthy though
I use to LOVE pasta and tomatoes. Only recently can I handle coffee.
I do really really want to drink a gallon of orange juice and have ice cream and a brownie. But I think that may be more because I can't do that (b/c of GD), than an actual craving.

I can't eat pasta either. Or meat or banana's. I am loving fish though, and beans and rice.

The spinach salads weren't quite so healthy when I slathered them in blue cheese dressing . . . ha ha!
I did notice that my aversions seemed to be foods that I ate super frequently before I got pregnant--like my twice-a-week spaghetti habit. I still can't eat any beans, and cheddar cheese tastes weird. I'm hoping things will go back to normal once this baby is born!

I knew I shouldn't have opened this post. Reading about all the food made me gaggy. First tri gals stay away!
I craved American cheese, white cheddar popcorn and Taco Bell during my first pregnancy of course there were none of those things in Israel. It was tortuous.
I've been craving lemon-filled donuts, which I didn't even like before getting pregnant. Mostly just the lemon filling. If I could buy that separately and eat it with a spoon, I would.

Actually, now that I'm reading this, I have recently fallen in love with lemonade.
I've always hated lemonade.
I wouldn't say that I'm craving it like I have to have it, but one day I walked past a stand in the mall and thought it would be a good idea to get some lemonade. I've been drinking it ever since. Now I want some.
