After a blissful second trimester (I routinely told my H that I never felt better in my entire life), the third trimester so far is kicking my butt. I slept 8 hours last night and yet I have bone-crushing exhaustion and I just dozed in my desk chair, sitting straight up. For those of you who are farther along, does it get better?
It's also been crazy for me at work but the semester is almost over, and I'm really hoping I can rest up in my last few weeks before baby comes. My plan involves lots of Netflix and naps.
It comes and goes for me! I posted a couple of weeks ago because I was so shocked at the fatigue that seemed to have come out of nowhere! But I have plenty of energy one day and might be completely knackered the next. So hopefully you will have a burst of energy soon!

I have definitely been more tired in late second tri, early third tri than I was in most of second tri, but this is mainly because I'm up a lot at night changing sides and getting up to pee, so I'm not getting long periods of peaceful sleep. I don't have the terrible mind-numbing exhaustion that I had in first tri where I wanted to cry some afternoons because I was so tired - I'm mainly just a little more tired by the end of the day. Good practice for when baby comes?
Yeah it definitely comes and goes. I was full of energy during 2nd tri, but I entered the 3rd tri with crippling exhaustion and was like 'oh crap...this is the beginning of the end." But after a few weeks I got my energy back. Some days I'm mowing the lawn and doing yardwork all day and I feel like I can take on the world. Other days I am sore, exhausted and no amount of coffee in the world can touch it. I don't know if the baby goes through growth spurts or what. It's weird.
