Roasted sweet potatoes are a sure thing for me. But if you've been without a BM for this long, that may not help things right away - just afterwards. Try sitting on the toilet with your knees elevated (a foot stool works well), and just try to relax all your muscles and (this sounds weird, but it works), let your jaw/throat hang open, and take long, slow deep breaths. It has to do with the 'law of sphincters' that Ina May Gaskin talks about. It's especially good for going poop.

Hot lemon water is suppose to help? I drink it every morning & nothing happens. Lol
