I would love to see somebody conduct a study to look at the increase in the cases of measles, deaths associated with measles and the decrease in reported cases of autism from people not being vaccinated.
quite honestly, I think it might take a bunch of people dying before people remember
I know I'm taking your quote slightly out if context, but isn't that what they said after the Newtown, CT shooting? And wasnt there a shooting in TX yesterday?
I honestly don't know what it takes to change people's mind back.

It takes something personal happening. Like, an anti-vaxxer having one of his/her children get really sick and maybe even dying. And then knowing they could have prevented it with a vaccine.
I think that episode of Private Practice illustrates it well, where this family already had one child with autism (the older one), and the younger one wasn't vaccinated due to their fear of giving him autism too. Then the younger one ended up getting a vaccine-prevetable disease and almost died. I'm missing a ton of details, but I think you can find that specific scene on YouTube.
You know what will be fun? Polio. Can't wait for that shit to come back! Really missed those iron lungs ya know? Fucking fuckers.
quite honestly, I think it might take a bunch of people dying before people remember how awesome vaccines are. If you go back 2 generations I don't think you'd have a single person say they think vaccines are frivolous.
Honestly I think most anti vaxxers would prefer people dying to "ingredients"

Sadly, I think you're right. Even though there's no medical/scientific evidence to support it save for true allergies.
