I would call whomever helped you pick out the furniture and discuss your options. We have light tan sofas that we had scotch guarded before we bought them and they clean up amazingly well. However, I don't know about doing it yourself. Hopefully Thomasville can help you figure out what to do.
I would call Thomasville and see what's up. My parents had an issue with furniture showing up stained funky, like the stain didn't take throughout the piece and Thomasville was great about getting them new pieces.

For 8k, didn't they offer any kind of stain protection? I bought 1k of Ashley Furniture and if I stain it or rip it is guaranteed they'll come out and fix it. Call, them and ask!

I'd call them too. I have an Ashley sofa that I paid like $500 for and was offered a stain and tear plan. (Of course, getting them to come out to FIX the small hole I have is like pulling teeth and I all but gave up at this point on it.) I know this company will clean it and if it won't come clean, they'll replace it.
