I'm almost 31 weeks now and was looking at myself at a sideways view in the mirror last night, and I feel like I look so WIDE from the side. A few people at work have commented that I don't look that big, but I've started to feel huge, and I can't believe I have 9 more weeks to get even bigger.
I still don't feel huge....I'm like you in that the baby has space width-wise, so my belly isn't too far out there. I noticed that whether or not I feel huge has nothing to do with the actual size of my belly and more to do with if I'm bloated up or not. I felt HUGE at 16w lol
It depends on what I'm wearing. If I wear a blousy maternity shirt or a stretchy non-maternity shirt I feel pretty OK, but if I wear something maternity and form-fitting it feels like it's supersized my bump quite a bit. Maybe I'll take two pictures for HDBD tomorrow (in different outfits) so I can point this phenomenon out. I swear I look 6 months pregnant in a regular maxi dress, but in a maternity maxi dress I look at least 8 months.
I only feel huge now when I try to bend over or if I awkwardly run into something with my belly.
When I look at myself from a profile view, I still feel like I'm not THAT big. Granted, a friend just the other day said to me "Jesus, you're GIANT. Your pictures make you look big, but you're not just big, you're GIANT." ...thanks. LOL.
So apparently other people think I look big. Maybe I'm just in denial.
Well that's a crappy thing for someone to say. I think most people aren't used to seeing a full term pregnant woman since on TV and in ads it's mostly 6-7 month women with cute bumps. You are not giant.
I felt huge at 24 weeks and I look back at pictures from then and laugh. I was tiny compared to now. Right now (32 weeks) is really when I feel enormous. My belly feels stretched out and rolling over in bed and getting off the couch is becoming more difficult.
My belly really popped out in the last couple weeks, so I'd say I started feeling "huge" around 33 weeks or so. People keep insisting I'm not huge though, so I'll happily accept that
I don't feel huge yet at 26 weeks but getting dressed is getting more and more challenging as things just don't fit correctly. I don't have a huge belly yet but my bustline has filled out and my shoes don't fit. I have to really be careful with shirts and dresses. I started off curvy and now some of my necklines are very va-va-va-voom...not a professional image. I generally dress very conservatively because I am in a conservative field.
The shoes not fitting really bothers me. As a shoe queen, I design my outfits around my shoes. I am not wearing maternity clothes regularly and I think that helps. Like bowies, I think maternity designs emphasize the bump.

This! So much this! Today I have on my "I swallowed a basketball shirt" while yesterday I had in the "can't really tell she's pg from the front shirt". Lol
I think around 32ish weeks I started thinking, "Man, I look big!" and by 36 weeks it was more like "Dude, I'm a HOUSE." By the very end I had actually outgrown some of my maternity clothes (the tops weren't long enough to cover my big belly anymore).
I am afraid I will never have this "cute little bump" of which y'all speak. I'm definitely showing now, but it's more like a...big blob?
There's this girl in my yoga class who is 37 weeks and she has the cutest bump. It's all front and center and seriously looks like she swallowed a basketball.

I'm 29 weeks today and I'd say I feel pretty darn big right now, but mostly because my belly just feels so heavy and in the way. I think I'm mostly belly though which is good. But I'd say I started to feel really big around 26 weeks maybe?
