I truly don't understand how people can read the completely unsupported crap that she is spewing and not have their brains explode. My heart rate was elevated just by reading that short segment quoted here.
Not that I want anything bad to happen to her children, but I really want to know what she would do if they got type 1 diabetes? Or an appendicitis? Or a broken leg? How the hell does "natural" medicine set a broken bone, replace insulin or remove an appendix? I really would like to know the answer.

It's poorly written - full of grammar problems, emotional, redundant, and whiny. Plus of course the misinformation, skewing of statistics, and lies. So, yeah, I'm going to recommend you skip it.
There is a part of me that is sad I've been too busy to engage in this. And there is the other part that is so very glad. I spent 6 years getting an actual Ph.D. and another 5 engaged in actual biological research - the kind that requires you to formulate AND TEST hypotheses before you get to be called a doctor or a scientist. I was trained by actual scientists who understood the scientific method and passed it down to me.
I am comfortable not in hating this person, but in finding her utterly irrelevant. Her perspective is no more valuable to me that the perspective of a flat earther would be to astronaut today. Her purported intellectual prowess extents only to "LOTS OF WORDS AND HYPERLINKS" as though what any free, literate person can spew in a public forum should count as much as the insights of trained scientists whose findings are upheld through the experimental process and the review of peers.
Show me your primary research Meghan. Show me your data. Link YOUR research findings - pass over the PMIDs and I'll be happy to read them. Show me yours and I'll show you mine - and then we can talk about why you should be afforded even a fraction of the credibility that is EARNED by actual doctors.

You forgot to drop the mic. This right here is brilliant, and really should be the end of the actual discussion* on this.

*gifs and whatnot excluded
I wish I knew how to post gifs... I so wanted to quote her and post an Ashton Kutcher from That 70's Show "BURN!" gif plus one of someone dropping a mic. LOL
Hey guys, I have about two credits in botanical medicine. So if you need a diagnosis or what not, don't hesitate to ask. I also might start a blog soon..

I read medical records at my job.
I am also good at using Google and have even successfully self-diagnosed myself with assorted ailments.
Since she moderates comments, I guess I will see rebuttals soon since I'm sure she is fine with dissent and doesn't want to be a bully.
Well if her FB page is any indication, no one disagrees with her at all ever. So it's weird that she even has to write about her perspective since it is wholly in line 100% with what anyone who reads her words thinks.
Ahhhh, thank you interwebs, for letting us create our own realities, not matter how far removed from the truth they may be.

I was pre-med for my first couple of years in college. If I'd have known that I can just call myself doctor and start handing out medical advice over the internet, I'd have skipped college altogether, or at least not wasted my precious time trying to pass Organic Chemistry to no avail. LOL
