I haven't felt baby since Wednesday. That was also the first time I ever felt hir for sure (I'm 18w1d today), so grain of salt on that bit. But today I'm having cramping that has gotten a bit worse throughout the day. No spotting. Could this be B-H this early? And if not, when do I worry? My plan now is denial unless I start bleeding or the pain gets really bad.. I'd say it's only a 3-4/10 now. Enough to make me say Um, ow. But not worse than a period.
Around that time I was having cramp like pain and my MD deemed is round ligament pain, not BH. Generally it's normal, but of course call your MD if you're unsure. I wouldn't just head to the ER.

Oh yeah, I really don't WANT to go to the er, lol. Just making sure I'm not ignoring things I shouldn't.
Thanks guys. Soooo I can't find my on call number. Lol. I'm still not bleeding. I hadn't considered RLP, since it's when I'm sitting still, but hopefully that's all it is.
I definitely didn't have enough water today either, so I'm catching up now and taking it easy. It hasn't gotten worse since I first posted, so I'm not too worried. DH was a little stressed (it was sharp enough to make me jump at one point), but I told him no one here is telling me to get thee to the hospital. So thanks for that too.

. Feet up, drink up (water ) and let DH wait on you! Feel better!
Oh, and the RLP pains I felt were when I was sitting still.

Oh glad to hear that. It's so different from the rlp I had previously (sharp and groin area), but I guess there are lots of ligaments!
That sounds like what I experienced around that time. Drink water and rest. You might not feel a ton of movement at this point because they have so much room in there.
But trust your gut -- if it doesn't feel right, then call or go in. Better to be safe than sorry.

I had rlp when sitting in my car and really thought it was BH. It happened a few more times that same day when I was at my desk and I thought for sure it was. After talking to my doc, they said it sounded like rlp not BH. BH feels like the baby is "balling up", a charley horse, or like a tight band across your lower belly. And your belly will get rock hard, like the surface of a table.
I took it easy the next few days and upped my water intake and felt better.
Eta: I was about 17w when this happened to me. Also, BH shouldn't really be painful. You may notice it, but it shouldn't really hurt. My doc did say that if it was BH, any increase in frequency or regularity of them warranted another call to them.
I think RLP comes from shifting or moving and the ligament gets strained. So you wouldn't sit still and have it happen, you'd have to shift or move your hip or leg. For me if I stand up too fast I get it bad. But yeah that can feel like a shot in one spot.
Not feeling the baby doesn't matter until you are more in that "belly dancing" phase like that video showed. Baby is too small now to feel dependably, and they tend to not move when the ute is contracting anyway.
