Last night I was introduced to RLP, so I assumed b/c the pain was vag located and was pretty sharp, stabby, and random. Kept me up and made me jump at times. Now that I'm sitting here in this chair it's kinda still there in that spot. Sounds like it, right?
Woke up this morning (after FINALLY falling back asleep) to the same sharp random flashes of pain but in my low abdomen right where my bladder is. It seems to be localized right there. I peed fine twice today w/o any burning or pain. No urgency to pee (except when I have to) and when I go it's a ton and a good color.
I want to make sure this is probably the RLP I think I'm feeling and not a UTI that I'm ignoring - since you shouldn't ignore those! I have a check up this Friday but if it's a UTI I don't want to wait that long.

I had my first UTI when I was about 24 wks pregnant. I had no urinary pain or burning. I just had tea colored urine (which was scary since it caught me by surprise!). It seems as if the symptoms are super variable from person to person so it is hard to tell. I am not sure if I've ever truly experienced RLP.
hmm, I'll see if the pain gets worse in that one area, but I guess when I go in on Friday if they don't take a urine sample I'll mention the pain and they can check.
Odonata sounds like RLP to me but keep an eye on it. I had the exact same thing happen around 15/16 weeks. My first RLP experience was when I sat down to pee and it hurt so bad on my L side I thought for sure it was a UTI. I went in to see my doctor for something unrelated later that week and found baby laying right where I was having the pain lol.
