My 29 year old cousin is on a first date with a guy she met on tinder. At 6:30pm she texted me and told me where they were meeting and she said she'd either stop by my place or text when she got home.

It's now 10:30 and no response from her. I texted her an hour ago to let her know I packed a lunch for her, but nada.

I know I'm over reacting, but I'm a little concerned since she didn't even know this guy's last name. It's been so long since the dating thing that I don't remember how long they last. Haha.

I don't want to be a cock block, but yeeeeah. When would you really be concerned?

Fwiw, she's super punctual and responsible.

I"m a late bloomer...I always thought dating was creepy unless it was someone you had known for quite a while or was a good friend of a good friend.

Not by design, but by coincidence everyone I dated was either someone I knew it was a friend of a friend.

I'm my sister's check-in, and I always have her message at a defined time and then when she's home for dates. That way I don't freak out if it's the next morning .

She's on the fence about him, but would go out with him again. although he hasn't asked her out again yet and she said she didn't like him enough to ask him.

I asked and there was no kissing.

We're holding off the search for a wedding dress for a little while longer.
