HELP. I forgot the caps to my receptacles.

for my breastpump.  Um, can I like buy a bottle of soda, clean it out, and pour it in there?  Do I have to toss this stuff?  I can't just keep them in the fridge all uncovered (and even if I could, I couldn't transport them home).

Should be fine - even the weather preparedness web sites say that used soda bottles are OK to use to clean water (but not milk or juice jugs because they can still have bacteria in them even after washing). I'd say it's your best bet.

Can you wrap a ziplock or was of paper towels across the tops and secure with a rubber band or something?

Anyway, I found unused leftover Christmas Starbucks cups and plastic wrap in the conference center. This is my short term solution.
