I know!! I was a little scared because the weather is FREEZING today and yesterday was so awful.
LOL at a PR for me though. I'm going to be happy to finish. If Boston is where I marathon PR, I will retire from marathons
Also, if anyone running needs anything while in town, or has questions about Boston or anything please PM me. I know I don't "know" any of you, but we are all marathoners
I know - I'm obsessively checking the weather every day!!
I'm staying in Cambridge. There is a hotel shuttle to the green line Lechmere station that I can take to Boston Commons to pick up the transportation buses, or I can take a cab for about $10. Which do you think would be easier/less stressful?
Prime racing weather, but as a spectator I will be all bundled up!
I am really looking forward to Boston race reports! Maybe I will post a race report about my 5k. I am super stoked to run across the finish line, although it won't have the same appeal as running across it after finishing the marathon!

Take a cab. Less stress, the better. Have the hotel concierge have a cab ready for you. Or get Uber. Its a car service app. Its awesome
My bus leaves the Common at 5:30. The T starts running at 5:15. I don't live far, so I don't care, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

The first time I ran Boston, we stayed in Cambridge. I actually called a cab company and scheduled a pick-up time the night before. Easy peasy. I'm sure the T would be easy too, but I didn't want any room for error with my pre-race nerves.
Good luck everyone! I lived in New England long enough to not trust the weather forecast more than a day or two out, but seems promising so far. PRs or not, I'm sure it will be a race to remember!
