I forgot Tux owns a catering company or something along those lines. I asked him to help me make candied bacon for my beer party on Friday because I thought it would be fun to do. He just came by with 5lbs of freshly thick cut bacon, spices, and sugar. Kissed me hello, rolled up his sleeves, prepped the bacon, then ran off to a work meeting for an hour. He left me with about 1.5 lbs of bacon that didn't fit on the sheet. I just had bacon and eggs while I'm waiting for the slices in the oven to candy and for his meeting to be over. Then we will have sex and eat candied bacon.

A little busy and spread pretty thin but even though he had to run off to a meeting (which I totally understand when you're in business development), the fact that he dropped off bacon and made it for me was very telling. He's very thoughtful, which I appreciate.

That sounds so good! How thick is the sugar packed onto the bacon? Did it get baked on the metal grate or on a cookie sheet and then transferred to the grate to drain?

We had to drain it a couple times. Tux thought the sugary fat would be tasty and made me eat bacon caramel. Unfortunately it had burned a bit and was vile
