DS did that too! My pedi said it's a reflex that some babies have at birth. He stopped doing it after a month-ish and then relearned at the normal age.

I totally believe you! When our son was 5 days old he turned himself over from his tummy to his back. He hated being on his tummy but you're supposed to give them "tummy time". NOPE! He wasn't having it! If I had not seen it myself I would never have believed it. We got it on video, too.
My parents saw our son flip from front to back when he was 8 days old.
Both my boys did this early on but then stopped and then didn't roll until the appropriate age. They must be really agile these first couple weeks or something.
