I do think it is very unfair they not only get to be prince and princess, but the future heir prince and princess, and they're beautiful, and beyond all that, they have the most adorable/best behaved baby ever. Those cheeks!!!!
I felt the same way! I can't walk down my own carpeted stairs without nearly falling. Meanwhile there are 800 photogs, 100 mph winds, you are in high heels and are holding a wiggly future king of England. She could be a navy seal or something. That's skill.
I almost bit it once while wearing heels and carrying Kate as a toddler. Good times.
Whenever I'm around, all three of my kids want/ed me to carry them when they were babies, so it doesn't surprise me at all that Kate is usually the one carrying George.
Come on people. Nothing about these events is accidental. She's carrying him to: a) reinforce her value to the crown (youth, succession, glamour); b) appear maternal, since that's essentially her job at this juncture; and c) because William looks doofy trying to do it in a suit, and he needs to look solid. Plus he's always greeted first so his hands have to be free.
