I have a thing for frogs. I have a few decorative frog pieces on our porch and a little rubber bendable frog on my kitchen windowsill. I'm thinking of DIYing a little whimsical froggy art for the windowsill - probably just a small piece of fabric in a 5x7 photo frame. I looked on fabric.com and just about everything screams kid or nursery - obviously not the look I'm going for.
What about this? I have to admit that I really like this fabric. I like the pattern and the froggy theme kind of blends in instead of being so in your face. I have yellow accents in my kitchen so this would definitely go. But is it a totally cheesy idea?
Should I let this guy have the windowsill all to himself?
If you're looking for elegant ways to incorporate frogs into your decor, I think that fabric's a pretty good way to go about it. But no, I don't particularly think Mr. Bendy "goes" with the fabric, if that's what you're asking.
I didn't even notice there were frogs in the fabric until I really searched them out. I think you should buy the fabric but in a bigger frame and maybe find somewhere more impactful to put it. That way, Mr. Bendy gets to maintain his place on the window.

I could do this, like you and TBM said. It doesn't have to go in the window sill. I could leave Mr. Bendy (lol) there and hang a larger display of the fabric in a frame on the wall or on my backsplash. Hmmmm. Glad you all don't think it's cheesy - I like the whimsy aspect of it. But if it turns out to be a total fail in the kitchen I could make a pillow cover and put it in the LR. I have green accents in there.
If frogs are your "thing" this fabric couldn't be more perfect. I agree with others that it would be a good fabric to incorporate in an accent piece or something, the frame won't look like much.
