So my sister is getting way into yoga as of late and she is looking so toned up! Her stomach has a six pack now.
Definitely motivated me to look at the yoga places near me. It seems expensive here. The cheapest place offers 12 classes for $100 or 50 bucks for a month's membership or $500 for a year membership. There is only like 3 studios in the area so I guess they can charge more. I just never thought it would be quite that much of an expense.
The stuido I go to is $99 for a month unlimited. I try to go to 6-9 classes a week. Drop in fee is $15. I'm sure there are cheaper ones in my city, but it is only 6 blocks from my place so the walking to and from is a nice perk. $500 for a year is a crazy good deal, IMO.
I feel like I found a great studio. Instructors are good, it's kept at about 80-88 degrees so not insanely hot, and they have a schedule that works for me. I don't want to do the unlimited though because I don't go enough and I'm trying to get over an injury.
Check if any of the places have a "starter special". As in mine did an unlimited for $40 for the first month, so you can try it to see if you like a place first.
Have you checked groupon and living social? A lot of studios have introductory deals that are cheap! But then once you use that up - the prices are what they are.
