Wow why did it take so long to tell you the results? Good luck with your three hour. I failed the one hour but had no problem with the three hour. Do you know what your one hour number was?
Take a good book or iPad/tablet for the three hour if you can. Netflix on the iPad helped the three hours go by faster for me.
I got a 154 -but that was after working a full day and not being 100% careful about my sugar consumption. My client is NOT going to be happy that I won't be there at the crack of dawn on Monday but I don't really give a shit.

That happened to me too. I had the one hour along with a few other tests. The nurse called and told me my results were normal, but I guess she overlooked my glucose test. I didn't find out that I failed it until my next appointment.
It seems like a lot of people fail the one hour and go on to pass the three hour. I have GD and it's really not that bad.
Weird they took so long to tell you, but good luck on the 3 hour. Like pp's have said, a lot of ppl pass the 3 hour just fine after failing the 1 hour.

Good for you for not caring! This is totally where I'm at with work, too. Like you, I've had a really stressful time at work ever since getting pregnant. Multiple role changes, was basically put in a different role where I was set up to fail (just to buy the directors more time to figure out who the shitty people in the company were), and have had a colleague try to make a massive power play over me because he thinks he's my manager. Add some really awful clients into the mix and it's been hectic and soul sucking.
After the news about my baby's heart, I honestly give zero fucks about my job.
Ugh loira, I'm so sorry. It pisses me off how many workplaces continue to mommy-track their employees based on old-school stereotypes. I'm so thankful that my direct managers have been so supportive (my program manager has 2 young kids herself and when I told her I was high-risk she told me to make myself/the baby the priority, not my diva client). It doesn't stop my client from throwing her fits, but hey, I guess it's good practice for when I have a toddler.
