Where do you hide them? My two and four year old are easy but I feel like my 8 year old has seen it all, he always finds it so quickly!
ill do the youngest on a chair pushed in, so it's under the table. And for my 4 year old, maybe behind the shower curtain or on the trampoline. I need a tricky spot for my oldest.
We have never hid (hidden)? them either. We hide the eggs but the baskets are just sitting on the floor in the living room in front of the entertainment unit! Maybe stick it in the washer/dryer if it will fit? Dishwasher?
Hmmm I'll have to think. It's pretty big because I did a basketball, board game and puzzle. I did very little candy this year because my daughters acid reflex is causing problems with her teeth. So I'm making them all suffer. Lol.

Would it fit inside the dryer? Top shelf of a closet? Or, could you keep moving the basket while he's looking for it? When he moves to another room, move it to a spot he's already checked. (Actually I may have to do this to my kids this year... )
Last year my DS woke up about 2 hours before the rest of us and tiptoed around the house and found every hidden basket and egg and told everyone else when they woke up. DD1 told him to do that again this year so she doesn't have to look for it.

My mom always hid them, she prided herself on the most fiendish locations possible. Once she hung one on a hanger in the closet between a bunch of coats and sweaters. Another one was inside an emptied carton of soda that had been sitting on the counter for weeks full of soda cans so my sister and I barely even looked at it.

The best one I remember was having it hidden between my bed and the wall. There was like 18" between the two, just enough so that it wasn't up against the wall and an adult could fit to change the sheets. I remember being so upset I couldn't find it I went and flopped on my bed to pout and there it was staring me in the face.
We do a scavenger hunt. I already wrote up the clues but have no idea where I'm hiding his basket. Last year I hid it in H's truck. This year.. maybe the garage??? We fancy.
