Omg you guys. Slovenia is my new favorite place. The food is great, tons of cute markets, it's not over run with tourists and the people are friendly, but not in your face.
And even better, my cousin and I each got a good glass of prosecco at the market for 3 euro. Total. We're going wine tasting this afternoon, but if the few glasses we've had thus far are any indicator we may be in for a treat.
If it's not on your list, look at it because it really should be.
We're so dumb. The mango is from Peru, so we're guessing that's why it was so expensive. We stopped by the grocery store last night and they had mangos 3.5euro/kg.
buuuuut, we had the mango this morning and it was really good! I recommend the mangos if you come here.
@uwhuskygirl I am jealous of all the European travel you are getting to do. We have a goal to spend one of our summers just traveling through Europe....but we'll see if we are ever able to pull that off. Slovenia sounds lovely!
Today we are supposed to go grocery shopping. That's about it. Also need to catch up on our budgeting. We started using YNAB about a month ago. We love it, but we really fell behind during our Dubai trip...and I've been scared to look at it...and reconcile everything. I need to put on my big girl panties and face the real world today, as much as I want to just keep hiding under the covers.

Good morning. The dogs woke me up this morning and when I took them outdoors, I realized that I forgot to feed them dinner last night. Poor doggies. Well, Gunner doesn't mind so much, but Sadie is a Lab, so I'm guessing that her heart completely broke last night. Poor brown dog!
We are going to spring clean one room today. James has agreed that we, as a family, are going to deep clean one room every weekend.
Other than that, IDK. I think I might have Tman get dressed and take a walk with me to Starbucks.
We are going to go see a movie in a bit and then go to goodwill to see what kind of finds there are, then do a little grocery shopping and then make some treats for tomorrow.

I skipped out on homework/reading last night and H and I went to go see Divergent. Theo James is hot!
Today is a homework/reading day and then work tonight. Not very exciting but I will take it! Will anyone let me tape a CVAD to their chest so that I can practice changing the bandage?!
georgeharrison I am surprised Sadie let you get away with that. Elsa starts "telling" us it is dinner time at about 4:30 (because of medicine we feed her 12 hours apart, at 6pm) in the way of big sighs, laying her head in your lap, and being a general needy pest.
kwpnjumper55 the part where Theo James says "do you want to see my tattoos" I said YES PLEASE out loud in the theater. He is SO cute.
I went for a walk with my mom, and now I need to make a run to Sephora. We were going to go mini golfing with some friends but uh...it's a squall out there suddenly! WTF it was sunny most of our walk and then the skies opened up!
Morning everyone! I was out bright and early for a haircut. Now I'm waiting for a medical examiner to show up so I can get evaluated for supplemental life insurance. Not looking forward to that but hopefully its over quickly. I had to fast and I am starving! Later, a friend and I are going to go do some shopping and get pedis. Although in wondering if open toe shoes may not happen for tomorrow after all, haha. Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

We're headed home from doing Easter at my parents. Why is there traffic at one on a Saturday? Seriously people. When we get home I'm going to jet to town center to try to find some shoes for bkb for tomorrow. We have a housewarming party to go to tonight. Busy weekend here.

I'm cranky today. I wish I could just hide someplace. H is driving me nuts, the minute I pick a room to do something in he suddenly needs to be in that room. Go away.
Late check in while I snuggle with the baby and watch Ironman 3, kind of surprised its on tv already. I went out this morning with my dad to Target. I needed a little "fun" and to get out to do something none emergency or medical related. Target was flowing with people stocking up on Easter candy but thankfully I didn't need to weed through those isles.
Now i'm home getting some stuff ready for tomorrow. My dad is the only one coming over but we are still going to do brunch and hang out a bit while M does her little egg hunt and enjoys what the bunny leaves her. I'm so glad we didn't buy really any candy for tomorrow since H's dad and step mom sent us an easter box FILLED with bags of candy.

I was just going to ask if you were new to the board or name change but when I quote, @ sign shows your orig name.

Slowly trying to move away from original name, but didn't want to lose *everything*.... I'm doing some life purging, one being the old name, it was my original email address when my parents got a (paid!) AOL in the 90s....you know when no one thought using names was a bad thing! It just stuck and I'm ready for a change. I did leave my pic for now and my siggy with the cat, to help transition, but I know that doesn't translate to mobile.
Though the name came long before, Monday would have been my 10 year wedding anniversary with my ex-h. I decided that over 1/2 of my life has been associated with that name and I'm good and ready for a change. Habit is easy and internet security is a beast these days!
